Science Day 2016

To launch our whole school STEM focus for the Summer, we had a science day to answer the question, ‘Where is the science in our school?’

Each key stage had a room of the school to investigate, from the toilets to the kitchen! Pupils asked scientific questions and one biology, one physics and one chemistry question was chosen to explore on the day. We were focusing on our scientific enquiry skills, using investigations to test our ideas and prove the answers to our questions. At the end of the day, we met for a Team Bowsland reflection where each class shared their learning from the day. The school was full of the buzz of science and some fantastic learning took place. Please come and look at our display in the entrance for examples of the work we produced.
