World Maths Day 2016-17

On Tuesday 7th March, we celebrated World Maths Day. Across the school, we took part in activities linked to different areas of maths. Some of us thought about how we see maths in our everyday life, some of us did cooking and some of us competed in the robot challenge. As well as this, we all used the book ‘One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab’ – from Reception up to Year 6! Our maths lesson focussed on using this book to help us with our maths skills such as number bonds, problem solving and algebra! Please take a look at our pictures from the day!
